Discussion: What’s in it for me?

Saturday 8th, 14:15

The first discussion of the Symposium will explore the opportunities that joining SRUK/CERU and coming to our events can offer you. We will split in small groups, each of them led by an SRUK/CERU volunteer who will share their experience and what they got and/or learnt thanks to being part of our Society.

The goal of these discussions is for you to learn about all the possibilities and different ways of developing yourself through the SRUK/CERU experience. Ask questions, inquire about the pros and cons, and learn about the satisfactions and the effort involved directly from people who have experienced it all. Get inspired by these amazing stories – you might feature the next one!

The volunteers have spoken and we have a nice group of them enthusiastic about what they have done as part of the Society. If you have registered in the Symposium, you should have received an email with details of the volunteers, their expertise and what experiences they will like to share. More volunteers might step forward during the day. The full list will be presented at the beginning of the session and the volunteers distributed around the room to discuss in small groups.

If you want to volunteer, please contact the organising committee at symposium@sruk.org.uk.
