This second discussion is about the future, about shaping the SRUK/CERU that is to come. What else should we be doing? Should we change the way we carry out our activities? How can we make SRUK/CERU more resilient to change? What can constituencies learn from each other? And from other diasporas?
In small groups, you will be able to discuss a topic of your choice around the theme of the sustainability of the Society. Notes will be taken by a scribbler and then presented briefly to all the attendees. These discussions are meant to guide the future of the Society, so be bold and adventurous – we want your ideas heard!
The list of proposed topics has now been curated and sent to the attendees of the Symposium. The list has taken the form of a Google Sheet for the attendees to complete with their names in the topic they will like to be involved. If you have forgotten to write your name there or simply are not sure what you want to discuss about, do not worry! The list will be presented at the beginning of the session and the groups distributed around the room – you can make your choice then.
